Job summary

Pearland Independent School District is seeking a bilingual classroom aide to support teachers in planning and managing classroom activities and administrative requirements. You will work under the supervision of certified bilingual teachers to assist with instructional tasks and activities.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, and Texas Educational Aide Certificate (can be obtained after hire).

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Texas Educational Aide Certificate (can be obtained after hire).
• Two years of college or associate degree (or equivalent) required or demonstrated.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with planning and managing classroom activities.
• Prepare and manage classroom materials and administrative tasks.
• Under supervision of bilingual teachers, support instructional activities.
• Support school-aged students in classroom settings; communicate in Spanish as needed.
• Read and write in Spanish to assist bilingual instruction.
