Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher in preparing instructional materials and displays.
• Work with individual students or small groups on assigned exercises.
• Reinforce behavior per teacher plans and support classroom discipline.
• Keep the teacher informed of any student needs or issues.
• Supervise students during the school day in classroom, lunchroom and outdoor areas.
• Assist with inventory, care and maintenance of equipment.
• Assist with testing administration and scoring tasks.
• Aid in maintaining administrative records and reports.
• Participate in in-service training, faculty meetings and events.
• Prepare materials, make copies, take attendance and organize files.
