Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Installer Service Specialist to service professional customers at the store’s installer counter and oversee daily activity of the delivery team. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and to support accurate order delivery and customer satisfaction.

The role requires a strong mechanics background, good communication skills, and knowledge of automotive repairs. ASE certification and Spanish language ability are highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong background in mechanics is required.
• Above-average communication skills are required.
• Hands-on knowledge of automotive repairs is desirable.
• ASE Certification is desirable.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop sales relationships with installers and professional customers.
• Take orders by phone and online, invoice orders, direct delivery planning.
• Ensure delivery vehicles are serviced and maintained according to company standards.
• Record daily mileages in fleet management devices.
• Collaborate with Sales Specialists and Territory Managers to provide superior service.
• Verify all product and merchandise are billed before customers leave the store.
• Ensure new core and warranty returns are picked up and credited timely.
• Audit returns for warranty abuse and ensure correct tagging and labeling.
• Assist on front and retail counters as needed.
• Support backroom duties such as auto-load, returns, stock, etc.
• Assist with customer labor claims and ensure quick processing.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
