Job summary

ASTM International is seeking an Inside Sales & Support Representative (Level I) to serve as the primary contact for customers and internal teams across multiple systems. You will process transactions, manage cases, and escalate issues as needed while supporting account and digital access responsibilities.

The role requires 1–3 years in customer-facing roles, an associate degree or equivalent, and fluency in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in customer service, sales support, administrative support, or related role.
• Experience using business systems and navigating web-based applications.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficiency with Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and web-based channels professionally and promptly.
• Process orders, account updates, and related customer transactions across systems.
• Assist customers with website navigation, account access, and basic technical issues.
• Troubleshoot issues by gathering information, identifying causes, and escalating when needed, with full documentation.
• Manage cases and maintain documentation across CRM and order systems.
• Prioritize work based on urgency and impact while meeting service deadlines.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support issue resolution and order processing.
• Identify and elevate sales or account opportunities to appropriate teams.
• Maintain knowledge of products and processes through training and resources.
• Suggest process improvements for documentation or workflows.
