Rugby Architectural Building Products is seeking an Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative in Greenvale, NY. The role combines customer service, account management, and inside sales to support business growth and deliver exceptional service.

You will work with contractors, builders, woodworkers, and other customers, helping them select products, process orders, and keep projects moving forward.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
• Experience in inside sales, customer service, account management, or sales support preferred.
• Building materials, construction, millwork, lumber, distribution, or industrial sales experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Serve as a trusted resource by providing product information, recommendations, and solutions.
• Generate sales through phone, email, and customer interactions.
• Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and develop new business.
• Prepare customer quotes, pricing, and proposals.
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Coordinate with operations and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Resolve customer questions and concerns with professionalism and urgency.
• Maintain accurate customer information and sales activity records.
• Stay informed about product offerings, industry trends, and market opportunities.
