Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in inside sales, healthcare, patient intake, customer service, or insurance.
• Associate or Bachelor degree in Administration/Healthcare/Marketing or similar field.
• Strong communication and phone skills.
• Comfortable speaking with families professionally and compassionately.
• Ability to stay organized while managing multiple cases.
• Experience using a CRM system (Zoho is a plus).
• Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, or managed care insurance is preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls from patients, families, and referral sources.
• Call families to gather information needed to begin home care services.
• Verify insurance eligibility, including Medicaid, Medicare, and MCOs.
• Explain services and admission process questions.
• Follow up with families to complete paperwork and move referrals forward.
• Keep accurate notes and update activity in Zoho CRM.
• Collaborate with coordination and recruitment to start care quickly.
• Manage multiple referrals while keeping cases organized and on track.
• Provide excellent customer service during every interaction.
