Archdiocese of Detroit Catholic Cemeteries is seeking a Family Service Advisor in Michigan. The role focuses on compassionate consultative conversations with families, guiding them through the Order of Christian Funerals, and balancing accompaniment with practical arrangements.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of face-to-face sales experience
• Interest in working in a Catholic environment
• This role calls for genuine mission alignment with our values
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including phone interactions
• Strong organization and time-management skills
• Spanish language skills (bilingual) both verbal and written
• Proficient computer and technology aptitude
• Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Guide families through the Order of Christian Funerals with consultative, relationship-driven conversations
• Walk families through options with accompaniment first, arrangement second
• Work autonomously while being supported by a team
• Be present across the full arc of a family's journey, from arrangement meetings to committals and parish outreach
