Job summary

Canon USA is seeking a training-focused professional to support regional accounts by highlighting hardware/software features and the technology behind the products. The role requires bilingual Spanish and may involve up to 60% travel with overnight stays.

The position emphasizes training outcomes, curriculum development, and collaboration with the training team to assess and meet customer needs, while maintaining demo room functionality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 3 to 5 years of related experience.
• Experience in printing pre-sales/post-sales support in office and production environments.
• Strong working knowledge of computer hardware and software including Microsoft and Apple operating systems and print driver setup.
• Thorough working knowledge of the Canon USA software portfolio including eCopy, Therefore and uniFLOW.
• Strong grasp of networking essentials and concepts.
• Extensive travel may be required, up to 60% with overnight stays (valid drivers' license and acceptable driving record necessary).
• CMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for training regional accounts and training outcomes.
• Determines the best instructional methods for each training session, and tests trainees (customers) to measure learning progress.
• Develops, directs, plans and evaluates training activities to meet the organization's position requirements, including participating as a subject matter expert and coordinating with the training team on curriculum development and conduct training needs assessments.
• Analyzes customers training needs to determine requirements for new program development.
• Works independently, with guidance in only new or unusual situations.
