Job summary

CAPECO in Pendleton is hiring an Information and Referral Specialist to be the first point of contact for clients seeking assistance. You will handle inquiries, provide program information, schedule appointments, collect data, and refer individuals to the proper departments.

Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred for differential pay; an associate degree or equivalent experience is required; candidates should be organized, sensitive to crisis situations, and proficient with Word and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bilingual preferred for differential pay.
• Associate degree or two years of related experience.
• Strong communication and data-entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients in person, by phone, and email.
• Assist with intake and program applications.
• Provide information and referrals to appropriate resources.
• Schedule appointments and manage mail and office tasks.
• Maintain and update client records.
