Positive Development in Goleta, California is seeking a Bilingual Child Development Specialist (English/Spanish) to work onsite with autistic children in home-based or center settings. This part-time role emphasizes active coaching, relationship-based intervention, and documenting progress.

You will build communication and daily living skills through play and structured activities, collaborate with clinicians, and receive paid training, a $1000 referral bonus, and other perks.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and professionalism with families and teammates.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation within a 30–40 minute drive radius.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including playing on the floor for up to two-three hours per session and lifting up to 40 lbs.
• Part-time schedule with 3–5 days per week; some shifts include after-school hours and weekend options.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 1 year of volunteer or working experience with children.
