FurstStaffing is seeking a Bilingual Immigrant Services Coordinator to support immigrant families through case management, outreach, and program coordination.
The role requires bilingual English/Spanish proficiency, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work with public agencies and community partners. Typical hours are Monday–Friday with occasional evenings or weekends for outreach, and for reporting and staff onboarding duties.
The Bilingual Immigrant Services Coordinator supports immigrant families by providing case management, outreach, and program coordination. Works Monday through Friday 8:00 am-4:30 pm, with occasional evenings or weekends as needed. Plays a key role in building partnerships, managing logistics, and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
Support outreach, education, and access to public benefits for eligible immigrant and refugee families with limited English proficiency.
Coordinate program logistics, including class promotion, student inquiries, and registration.
Develop and maintain relationships with public agencies, nonprofit organizations, schools, service providers, media outlets, and immigrant and refugee communities.
Attend community events and networking opportunities to build connections in target communities.
Assist the Director with annual and ongoing program planning, implementation, monitoring, and activities in accordance with standards and available budgets.
Support onboarding and orientation of new staff and identify relevant development opportunities.
Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential program records, databases, client files, outreach documentation, and other information required for reporting.
Attend staff meetings, required trainings, and approved outreach activities; contribute to a collaborative, team-centered work environment.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Bachelor's degree in human services, social work, or related field, or at least two years related experience.
Previous leadership and prior management experience.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated sound judgment.
Moderate computer proficiency.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and accurate records.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
Current Illinois driver's license and valid vehicle insurance.
Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends for outreach activities.
