Job summary

School in the Square is seeking an Elementary ICT/Special Education Teacher for the Dos Amigos program in a Dual Language PreK-5 setting. The role focuses on bilingual instruction, social-emotional learning, and equity-driven teaching within a Relationships-First culture.

You will collaborate with the Principal and SLT to maintain high academic standards, differentiate for diverse learners, and implement co-teaching and ELL strategies in a supportive, community-rooted environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or relevant content area.
• Current NYS Special Education Certification or willingness to enroll and obtain within two years.
• Experience with bilingual immersion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support high academic standards and address social-emotional needs of all students.
• Collaborate with Principal and School Leadership Team to improve instruction.
• Deliver bilingual immersion instruction and use restorative practices to foster inclusive learning.
