Elsie Whitlow Stokes Community Freedom Public Charter School in Washington, DC is seeking an elementary teacher for a 10-month position (7:50am–3:50pm or 8:00am–4:00pm) to foster an engaging, inclusive learning environment that supports academic growth and social-emotional development.

You will plan and deliver standards-aligned lessons, assess progress with data, support social-emotional learning, implement IEPs, and collaborate with co-teachers, coaches, and families.

Qualifications

Position Summary

The Teacher is responsible for creating a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment that supports academic growth and social-emotional development. This role includes planning and delivering instruction, assessing student progress, collaborating with colleagues and families, and implementing the school’s inquiry-based and IB/PYP curriculum.
