Job summary

School in the Square is seeking a dedicated Elementary School Student Support Services Coordinator for our Dos Amigos program in New York. You will support social-emotional learning and literacy in a bilingual PreK-5 setting, reporting to the Principal and collaborating with the SLT to uphold high standards.

The role emphasizes data-informed instruction, equity, and multilingual learner support, with opportunities to lead school-wide systems and professional development.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years as a full-time, impactful secondary special educator; urban charter setting preferred.
• Masters Degree and NY certification as a Teacher of Students with Disabilities or service provider.
• Strong knowledge of special education compliance and evidence-based practice.
• Proven ability to coach educators and lead school-wide systems for multilingual learners.

Responsibilities

• Support social-emotional needs of all students in a bilingual, immersive program.
• Collaborate with Principal and SLT to maintain high academic standards.
• Lead teacher coaching and professional development.
• Use data to inform instruction and improve student outcomes.
