Job summary

Instrata is seeking a Bilingual Data Center Field Engineer / Project Engineer to support hyperscale data center construction projects. The role centers on coordinating, documenting, and executing in the field, with a path toward Project Manager roles.

You will bridge technical and administrative gaps, manage RFIs and turnover documentation, and ensure commissioning readiness while aligning with client standards and project milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in construction engineering or project engineering or project support.
• OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Site Project Managers and Senior Project Managers by bridging technical and administrative gaps on active hyperscale data center projects, with daily field presence to resolve issues and support Foremen and crews.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, redlines, as-builts, and field documentation to ensure accuracy and timely responses.
• Identify and elevate design conflicts, constructability issues, and scope discrepancies early to avoid schedule, cost, or quality impacts.
• Coordinate quality inspections, punch walks, and commissioning readiness activities, including tracking and validating test results and Infra Ready for Cx deliverables.
• Interface with client engineers and construction representatives, providing updates on documentation status and milestone readiness.
• Track installation progress, material alignment, and field changes with Foremen and teams.
