Job summary

Instrata Technologies, LLC. is seeking a bilingual Data Center Field Engineer / Project Engineer to support hyperscale data center construction projects with precise coordination, documentation control, and field execution.

You’ll work alongside Site Project Managers and field crews, manage RFIs, submittals, redlines, as-builts, and turnover deliverables, and drive commissioning readiness and Infra Ready for Cx milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in construction engineering, project engineering, or project support.
• Equivalent field experience considered.
• Working knowledge of Division 27/28 conveyance systems preferred.
• OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred.
• EIT, FE, or PMP-track credentials a plus.

Responsibilities

• Bridge technical and administrative gaps on hyperscale data center projects with daily field presence.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, redlines, as-builts, and field documentation for accuracy and timely responses.
• Identify design conflicts, constructability issues, and scope discrepancies early to avoid schedule, cost, or quality impacts.
• Coordinate quality inspections, punch walks, and commissioning readiness activities, including tracking test results and Infra Ready for Cx deliverables.
• Interface with client engineers and construction representatives, providing updates on documentation status and milestone readiness.
• Track installation progress, material alignment, and field changes in coordination with Foremen and QA/QC teams.
• Support cost control, forecasting, billing, and change order development by validating quantities and labor impacts.
