Job summary

The Staff Pad is actively seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Los Angeles. This role supports all HR operations including talent acquisition, employee relations, training and development, performance management, compensation and benefits, and compliance.

Reporting to the VP of Human Resources, you will help strengthen culture, ensure employment-law compliance, and drive HR initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HR Generalist experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience with HRIS, payroll systems, HR software tools and Microsoft Office.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top talent.
• Foster a positive workplace culture by supporting employee relations, resolving concerns, and managing disciplinary actions and grievances.
• Coordinate employee training, professional development, performance reviews, feedback, goal setting, and career growth initiatives.
• Oversee payroll, employee benefits administration, and compensation benchmarking to ensure competitive and accurate HR practices.
• Ensure compliance with training initiatives, employment laws, HR policies, required training, and maintain accurate employee records and documentation.
• Keep up to date with changes in labor laws and make necessary adjustments to policies and procedures.
• Partner with leadership on workforce planning, organizational development, HR strategy, and process improvements through HR metrics and reporting.

What We Are Looking For
