Great Lakes Landscape Design Inc. in Oak Park, IL seeks a Human Resources Specialist who is bilingual in Spanish and English to support payroll, onboarding, benefits, and HR processes.

You will learn LMN system, Paylocity, Navigator, and the ATS, and act as a bridge for language with employees. This role emphasizes independence, confidentiality, and strong communication as you handle recruiting, record-keeping, PTO tracking, and compliance, progressing from onboarding to day-to-day HR

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with payroll, benefits, and HRIS is a plus.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist with onboarding of new hires and orientation.
• Process payroll and benefits enrollment in Navigator and Paylocity.
• Maintain and audit employee records for compliance.
• Handle HR inquiries and escalate complex issues to supervisor.
• Support recruitment and job postings across platforms.
