Job summary

Maersk is seeking a People Partner to support assigned locations with frontline HR functions, including employee relations, performance management, benefits, leaves of absence, training, and policy interpretation. The role requires bilingual Spanish capabilities and a four-year degree, with PHR/SPHR certification highly desired.

You will partner with facility leaders to manage headcount, coaching managers, and ensure compliance with wage/hour laws while driving HR initiatives and audits.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish required.
• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
• HR Certification (PHR/SPHR) highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first HR contact for employee relations, performance management, benefits, leaves of absence, training and policy interpretation.
• Conduct employee investigations and advise on next steps.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal wage/hour laws and postings.
• Assist with department goals and company policies, procedures and audits.
• Manage performance management processes, including development plans and corrective actions.
• Provide coaching to managers on employee-related issues and organizational policies.
