Katapult Network is seeking an entry-level Human Resources and Office Assistant. This in-person, full-time role offers mentorship and growth opportunities and welcomes recent college graduates with little or no professional experience.

Responsibilities include processing HR documentation, screening applicants, posting jobs, and guiding employees through benefits and policies. The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree and be fluent in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Bonus: Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Knowledge of personnel recruitment, training, compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Process, verify, and maintain personnel related documentation.
• Request information from law enforcement, previous employers, and references.
• Review employment applications to evaluate qualifications.
• Arrange for advertising or posting of job vacancies and notify applicants.
• Explain company policies, benefits, and procedures to employees or applicants.
• Record employee data including earnings, absences, and terminations.
• Assist in administering employee benefit programs and workers' compensation.
• Interview job applicants to screen and evaluate them.
• Inform applicants of acceptance or rejection.
• Perform day-to-day administrative tasks and maintain files.
