Prismhr Hire seeks an HR Manager to lead on-site HR for a LaSalle bakery, partnering with plant leadership to foster a respectful, accountable culture. The role spans hiring, onboarding, training, and employee engagement, with a focus on a warm, people-first environment and strong cross-level communication.

The ideal candidate is fluent in English and Spanish, has 5+ years in HR—preferably in manufacturing— and brings solid knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.

Qualifications

• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required.
• 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or operations.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
• Experience building engagement and culture programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead hourly and salaried hiring efforts in partnership with plant leadership.
• Support development of supervisors and front-line leaders.
• Coordinate training programs related to leadership, safety, conduct, and compliance.
• Help build internal career paths and development systems.
• Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
• Support workers' compensation, leaves of absence, and accommodations.
• Partner with payroll and benefits teams.
• Serve as a communication bridge between leadership and employees.
