Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a bilingual Spanish Human Resources Generalist for the Del Rey, CA area. This contract-to-hire role focuses on HR policy, California compliance, payroll changes, and full-cycle recruiting in a manufacturing setting.

You will support onboarding, benefit inquiries, and employee relations while promoting a positive work environment. Office-based with standard hours, some on-call duties during peak seasons may apply.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve HR policy, compliance, and process issues; implement improvements.
• Maintain and update HR policies; ensure alignment with California employment law.
• Manage payroll-related changes and timekeeping inquiries.
• Oversee full-cycle recruiting, sourcing, screening, and interviews.
• Facilitate onboarding, New Hire Orientation, and UKG data accuracy.
• Support annual GROW cycle including goals and compensation planning.
• Provide guidance to managers on employee relations and performance.
• Promote positive work environment and conflict resolution.
• Assist with benefits inquiries and coordinate with Corporate Benefits.
• Support company events and committees.
