Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a Bilingual Human Resources Assistant to serve as a primary contact for employees in English and Spanish at our Point Of Rocks, MD plant. The role supports onboarding, recruiting, benefits, and HR programs, while maintaining compliant employee records.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in HR, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to translate HR materials. This is a 100% onsite position with a typical daytime schedule and potential overtime for meetings.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Spanish required.
• 1-2 years in Human Resources including onboarding, recruiting, performance, training, timekeeping, payroll support.

Responsibilities

• Serve as point of contact for HR inquiries in English and Spanish.
• Translate HR documents, communications, and policies as needed.
• Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Support HR programs such as employee engagement, benefits enrollment, and training.
• Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with policies and laws.
• Prepare HR reports and maintain HRIS data integrity.
• Provide payroll support including timecard audits and attendance tracking.
• Ensure regular attendance and professional conduct.
