Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH company, is seeking a hands-on HR Business Partner / Generalist to support leaders and staff across the full employee lifecycle. You’ll drive engagement, lead investigations, and partner with operations to build a people-first culture.

You’ll collaborate on hiring, performance, policies and training, with duties covering onboarding, offboarding, benefits communications, and compliance with FMLA, FLSA, EEO, and OSHA.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years HR experience (employee relations preferred).
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders on hiring, performance, and employee relations.
• Lead workplace investigations and provide policy guidance.
• Support onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle processes.
• Deliver HR training and employee communications (benefits, policies, programs).
• Ensure compliance with employment laws (FMLA, FLSA, EEO, OSHA).
• Analyze HR data and support decision-making.
• Plan and lead employee engagement initiatives.
• Serve as a trusted liaison between employees and management.
