Job summary

Discover Puerto Rico is seeking a People & Culture Generalist to partner with the Senior Director of People & Culture on the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, payroll, records, and HR administration.

The ideal candidate manages confidential matters with tact in a fast-paced, multi-generational environment and supports recruitment, onboarding, benefits, and compliance across Puerto Rico and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years HR experience.
• Hands-on ADP payroll experience.
• Experience using AI platforms/tools in a work setting.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Copilot.
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Senior Director of People & Culture on day-to-day HR operations, handling confidential and sensitive employee matters with tact and discretion.
• Serve as a first point of contact for employee HR questions and escalate sensitive issues as needed.
• Assist with recruitment activities, including postings, pre-screening, and interview coordination.
• Coordinate the performance evaluation process and track completion.
• Process payroll accurately through ADP and reconcile discrepancies with Finance.
• Lead onboarding and offboarding processes and ensure proper documentation.
• Maintain confidential employee records and HR documentation.
• Support benefits administration, wellness initiatives, and employee engagement.
• Ensure compliance with Puerto Rico and federal labor and employment regulations.
• Leverage AI tools to improve HR processes while maintaining confidentiality.
