Job summary

Farmland Fresh Dairies, LLC. is seeking an HR Generalist to support company-wide HR initiatives across New York and New Jersey.

You will guide managers and employees in payroll, employee relations, performance management, policy administration, compliance, leave administration, and workforce planning. You will work closely with the HR Manager and Recruitment Manager to ensure a consistent employee experience for a workforce of approximately 530 employees, including both permanent and temporary

Qualifications

• Serve as the primary HR contact for employees and supervisors.
• Address employee concerns and facilitate resolution of workplace issues.
• Conduct investigations involving policy violations, attendance concerns, workplace misconduct, and employee complaints.
• Provide coaching and guidance to managers regarding employee performance and behavioral issues.
• Support disciplinary processes and documentation.
• Assist managers with performance evaluations and employee development planning.
• Monitor probationary and introductory periods for new employees.
• Partner with leadership to identify employee development opportunities.
• Maintain compliance with employment laws and company policies.
• Support audits, unemployment claims, and benefits administration.

Responsibilities

• Assist with workers' compensation administration and accommodations.
• Coordinate payroll inquiries and billing reconciliation.
