Job summary

Kelly Services partners with a Topeka, KS manufacturing facility to hire a Bilingual Human Resources Generalist on-site. This contract role provides critical HR support across operations, employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, benefits, and compliance in a fast-paced plant.

Working with plant leadership and hourly associates, you will translate communications, enforce policies, and ensure safe, efficient HR processes through year-end, with a Monday–Friday schedule and standard daytime

Qualifications

• Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills, verbal and written.
• 1–5 years of progressive HR Generalist experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Bachelor’s degree; professional certification a plus (PHR/SHRM-CP).

Responsibilities

• Frontline employee relations: bilingual resource on the plant floor and with supervision.
• Bilingual communication & translation between English and Spanish across HR, operations, and safety.
• Recruitment & onboarding: screening, interviewing, and bilingual orientation for hourly staff.
• Benefits & leave: answer questions on healthcare, FMLA, ADA, and disability; assist with open enrollment.
• Compliance & records: manage confidential files and ensure federal/state/local compliance.
• Safety & training: coordinate required safety trainings and support workers’ compensation processes.
