Job summary

System One in Paterson, NJ is seeking an HR Generalist for a contract-to-hire assignment onsite. You will coordinate and manage HR functions on site, including employee relations and benefits administration, and support payroll processing.

The role requires 2–3 years HR experience, direct work with employees, bilingual English and Spanish, and a high school diploma. Hours are Mon-Fri; 8am-4:30pm or 8:30-5pm, onsite. Compensation is $30-$35/hr.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years HR experience with some exposure to benefits and workers' compensation.
• Experience working directly with employees.
• Proficient in payroll processing.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
• HSD required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage HR functions on site, including employee relations and benefits administration.
• Assist in processing payroll and workers compensation documentation.
• Collaborate with the HR team to support employee engagement and compliance initiatives.
• Handle front-line HR interactions with employees, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation for HR processes.
