Job summary

Hayes Company LLC, based in Mesquite, TX, is seeking a Human Resources Generalist (HRG) to partner with warehouse-site leaders across multiple locations. You will manage HR functions, investigations, payroll coordination, onboarding, and compliance in a fast-growing distribution environment.

The ideal candidate is bilingual (Spanish/English), detail-oriented, and capable of driving change management and employee relations initiatives while building strong cross-site relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, or related field.
• 3+ years as HR Generalist or similar in warehousing/logistics.
• Bilingual Spanish/English (written and verbal) required.
• Experience leading change management in a growing org.
• Ability to manage HR across multiple sites.
• Strong knowledge of HR principles and labor laws.
• Proficient with HRIS (Workday, ADP) and MS Office.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Conflict resolution and problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Serve as bilingual English/Spanish resource to address employee relations.
• Partner with multi-site leadership on HR needs and policy adherence.
• Conduct investigations and escalate when needed to HRBP.
• Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead new hire orientation and onboarding across sites.
• Maintain accurate HR records in the HRIS and assist with payroll inquiries.
• Provide HR solutions for high-volume staffing and retention.
• Facilitate open communication between employees and leadership.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local employment laws.
• Prepare HR reports and analyze turnover/headcount.
• Coordinate annual open enrollment and benefits communication.
• Contribute to HR projects and strategic initiatives.
