Job summary

Ultimate Staffing in Hopkins, MN is seeking an HR Generalist to focus on recruiting, employee relations, onboarding, offboarding, and workforce engagement for hourly production staff. You will support benefits administration, compliance, training coordination, performance management, and HR operations.

You will lead full-cycle recruitment for production and warehouse roles, source and interview candidates, and partner with managers to meet staffing goals while maintaining a positive workplace

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HR experience in manufacturing or production.
• Fluent in Spanish and English, written and verbal.
• Experience with recruiting and employee relations.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build credibility with employees at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruitment for production and warehouse positions.
• Source, screen, interview, and coordinate hiring activities.
• Partner with managers to meet staffing goals and build talent pipelines.
• Serve as a trusted resource for employees and supervisors.
• Assist with coaching, performance concerns, investigations, and conflict resolution.
• Promote a positive, engaged, and respectful workplace culture.
• Manage onboarding, orientation, and employment documentation.
• Coordinate employee separations, exit interviews, and offboarding processes.
• Maintain employee records and HRIS data.
• Administer benefits, leave programs, workers' compensation, unemployment claims, and employment verifications.
• Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
• Coordinate training programs, employee communications, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Partner with leadership on retention strategies, workforce planning, and organizational development efforts.
• Support payroll processes, reporting, audits, and other HR administrative functions as needed.
• Assist with special projects and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the employee experience.
