Job summary

BINEX LINE CORP. in Torrance, CA seeks an experienced HR Generalist to support employee relations, payroll, performance management, recruiting, benefits, and compliance.

The role requires strong judgment, confidentiality, and the ability to manage HR projects independently. You will work with managers and staff to interpret policies, ensure wage and hour compliance in California, coordinate onboarding, and maintain HRIS records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of HR Generalist experience.
• Experience with payroll and HRIS (ADP Workforce Now).
• Working knowledge of federal and California wage and hour laws.
• Experience with employee relations and performance management.
• PHR/SHRM-CP or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Bilingual in Korean and English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR guidance to managers and employees regarding employee relations, performance management, workplace conduct, company policies, and employment practices.
• Handle employee relations matters, including gathering information, investigations, documenting findings, and recommending actions.
• Support managers with performance concerns, coaching, corrective actions, and performance improvement plans.
• Administer the performance review process, including timelines, communications, and follow-up.
• Review payroll information for accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate corrections with payroll provider.
• Support compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws.
• Manage recruiting activities, including postings, screening, interviews, evaluations, and hiring recommendations.
• Coordinate onboarding, transfers, promotions, compensation changes, and separations.
• Administer benefits and support leave and accommodation processes.
• Maintain accurate HRIS and confidential employee records.
• Prepare HR communications and reports.
• Analyze HR data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Participate in HR compliance reviews and audits.
