Job summary

Humina Resource in Irvine, CA is seeking an experienced Operation / HR Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations in a small to mid-sized manufacturing and distribution company.

This hands-on role covers onboarding/offboarding, payroll processing, benefits administration, and HR documentation, with bilingual English/Japanese collaboration.

You'll work on compliance with California labor laws and partner with management to improve HR processes while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of HR experience in a corporate setting.
• Japanese-English bilingual with written and spoken fluency.
• Hands-on payroll processing experience.
• Strong knowledge of HR operations, onboarding, offboarding, and compliance.
• Familiarity with California labor laws.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle HR operations including onboarding and offboarding.
• Process and manage payroll accurately and timely.
• Administer employee benefits (health, dental, vision, etc.).
• Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state (California), and local labor laws.
• Serve as a point of contact for HR inquiries.
• Support performance management and employee relations.
• Assist with recruiting, job postings, and interview coordination.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders in English and Japanese.
• Collaborate with management to improve HR processes.
