Job summary

BrandSafway is seeking an HR Generalist for the Central Texas area to provide hands-on HR support across multiple locations and job sites. The role focuses on employee relations, investigations, and partnering with leaders in a fast-paced field environment.

The ideal candidate is bilingual (English/Spanish), highly organized, and capable of handling a large hourly/craft workforce across branches. This onsite role requires travel to branch locations and job sites with limited work-from-home

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Fluency in English and Spanish required.
• Strong employee relations experience including investigations, conflicts, performance management & corrective action.
• Knowledge of HR practices, employment laws & compliance.
• Experience supporting hourly, craft, industrial, field services or similar workforce preferred.
• Ability to manage a large employee population across multiple locations.
• Strong judgment & problem-solving with unbiased handling of situations.
• Excellent verbal & written communication across all levels.
• High integrity & discretion with confidential matters.
• Self-motivated, highly organized, able to work with limited supervision.
• Strong technology skills including HR systems & MS Office.
• Comfort in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary HR resource for employees, supervisors, and managers across locations and job sites.
• Manage a high volume of employee relations matters including concerns, conflicts, investigations, performance issues, and corrective action.
• Advise supervisors and managers on next steps related to employee relations, performance management, policies, and concerns.
• Conduct thorough workplace investigations and provide findings-based recommendations.
• Build relationships with operational leaders through regular visits to branches and sites.
• Conduct onsite employee and management training on culture, violence prevention, and HR topics.
• Support performance management and reviews with managers to ensure consistency and reduce bias.
• Monitor workforce trends like turnover and ER activity to identify solutions.
• Apply policies and laws consistently with sound judgment across cases.
• Utilize HR systems for documentation, reporting, and HR processes.
• Manage schedules across a dispersed population.
• Collaborate with wider HR team on initiatives and compliance.
