Baird Consulting Group is seeking a bilingual HR Generalist to support multi-industry clients from our Baltimore-area office in a hybrid role. You will screen candidates in English and Spanish, translate HR documents, and maintain accurate ATS/HRIS records while ensuring compliance with I-9, EEO, and state laws.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in HR generalist or recruiting roles, experience with ATS/HRIS data entry, and the ability to communicate HR policies clearly.

As our Bilingual HR Generalist you will turn language and cultural fluency into faster, fairer talent decisions so growing companies can fill critical roles without missing diverse candidates or compliance risks.

• Complete full-cycle screening and first-round interviews in English and Spanish for 15+ client requisitions per month, delivering qualified slates 20% faster than monolingual benchmarks.
• Translate and localize job descriptions, offer letters, and onboarding packets so Spanish-speaking candidates experience the same clarity and professionalism as English-speaking ones.
• Maintain 98% data accuracy in applicant tracking and HRIS records while producing weekly bilingual compliance reports on I-9, EEO, and state labor requirements.
• Resolve employee-relations and benefits questions for bilingual staff and client hires within one business day, reducing escalation volume by 30%.
• Partner with recruiters to source passive Spanish-speaking talent, adding at least two new qualified candidates per week to active pipelines.
• Design and deliver a 45-minute bilingual new-hire orientation that lifts 90-day retention among Spanish-speaking placements by 15% within six months.

You report directly to the Managing Partner in our Baltimore-area office (hybrid). You will use our ATS, Microsoft 365, and client HRIS platforms; budget for translation tools and professional development is available. The team is lean—you will work side-by-side with recruiters who treat you as a full extension of the client’s leadership.

• Proven success conducting interviews and administering HR processes in both English and Spanish (written and spoken fluency required).
• 2+ years in an HR generalist, recruiting, or staffing role supporting multi-industry clients.
• Hands‑on experience with ATS/HRIS data entry, I-9/E-Verify, and basic benefits enrollment.
• Ability to produce accurate, timely reports and maintain confidentiality in a high‑volume environment.
