Job summary

Impact NW is seeking a Multnomah Housing Specialist III (Bilingual Spanish) to provide advanced, community-based social work services under a Housing First framework for individuals and families experiencing chronic homelessness and housing instability in Multnomah County.

The role includes coordination, advocacy, and mentorship to team members, with emphasis on complex cases and funder-aligned documentation.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish is required for this position.
• Minimum of 3 years of successful housing navigation experience.
• Experience interpreting and applying program and funder guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload with high-acuity or complex cases, including landlord negotiation and barrier removal.
• Provide trauma-informed, strength-based engagement and ongoing case management using Housing First principles.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary service providers to support client stability and housing retention.
• Mentor Housing Specialist II staff and support onboarding with case consultations and best-practices modeling.
• Maintain HMIS and funder data entry accuracy and assist with audits and compliance reviews.
