American Airlines Federal Credit Union is seeking a Home Equity Loan Specialist to guide members through online applications, gather documents, and ensure accurate disclosures. The role requires compliance with credit union policies and effective communication with all parties involved.

The ideal candidate will have experience in mortgage origination, strong income analysis skills for complex tax returns, and bilingual Spanish proficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience with mortgage loan origination and processing on conventional, FHA, and VA products.
• Strong income analysis, including complex tax returns.
• Fluent in Spanish (read, speak and write).

Responsibilities

• Assist members in completing online Home Equity applications using MeridianLink and provide disclosures.
• Negotiate terms and conditions of loans with members.
• Set up loans and gather qualifying documents.
• Place orders for Home Equity-related services and process loans.
• Perform income analysis of loan documentation, including complex tax returns.
• Refer loans to Credit Union underwriters and serve as primary contact from application to close.
