Job summary

Unicare Home Care in Brooklyn seeks an experienced Human Resource Coordinator to join its growing team. The role is full-time and requires bilingual Spanish speaking ability with home care experience, including familiarity with HHA Exchange.

You will manage onboarding, ensure documents are complete, and maintain training schedules, while entering hires into Home Care Registry and CHRC files. The position also handles ID badges, daily recruitment reports, and compliance support.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct onboarding including background checks and pre-employment steps.
• Ensure all new hire documents are completed and signed before start.
• Maintain training & in-service schedules for staff.
• Enter new hires into Home Care Registry and HHA Exchange systems.
• Create personnel and medical files; manage I-9, CHRC files.
• Provide daily recruitment reports and assist with authorization follow-ups.
• Assist with scheduling for disciplinary hearings and document updates.
