Job summary

Galaxy Home Care in Brooklyn is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented receptionist to join a busy home health office. The role requires excellent customer service, strong communication skills, and fluency in English; Russian ability is a huge plus.

You will handle calls, schedule interviews, manage mail and faxes, and support office staff with translations and routine clerical tasks. Prior experience with HHA Exchange is a plus, and training is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service, attention to detail and communication skills a must.
• Working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook required.
• Prior experience in HHA Exchange preferred, willing to train the right candidate

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming phone calls, take messages
• Schedule appointments and interviews
• Maintain the reception area neat and organized
• Check the agency's e-mails and incoming faxes
• Prepare letters, notices, forms and other documentation as needed
• Provide translation per office staff request
• Perform general clerical duties: typing, copying, scanning, faxing and mailing
• Assist with other projects as assigned
