Job summary

Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County is seeking an Early Learning Specialist to conduct bi-weekly home visits with families in the ParentChild+ HBCC program, supporting literacy and language development for children aged 16 months to 3 years. You will help childcare providers implement evidence-based strategies and curriculum with fidelity.

Responsibilities include coordinating visits, data collection (ASQ/ASQ:SE, CBT, PICCOLO), preparing reports, and linking families to community resources.

Qualifications

• Experience in social services in community settings with families preferred.
• At least one year of experience with an early childhood program.
• Bilingual capabilities a plus (Spanish/English and Vietnamese/English).

Responsibilities

• Provide home visits twice weekly to deliver HBCC curriculum.
• Facilitate model play, reading, and verbal interaction with caregiver and child.
• Complete written reports and input data into the database.
• Coordinate scheduling, workshops, and community resource referrals.
• Maintain confidentiality and prepare development assessments.
