Job summary

Blue Eagle Credit Union in Roanoke, VA seeks a Hispanic Services Specialist to serve as the primary contact for our Hispanic membership, delivering a welcoming environment and exceptional service in Spanish and English.

This 100% in-office position focuses on growing member relationships, answering inquiries in person or by phone, and handling transactions in Eagle Vision while adhering to credit union policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Professional experience translating between Spanish & English.
• Minimum 1 year of customer engagement experience.
• Attention to detail and math skills expected.
• Engaging personality with strong communication and influencing abilities.
• Experience in sales/service environment preferred.
• Ability to be registered in the NMLS system.

Responsibilities

• Provide 5-Star member service experiences in bilingual Spanish/English.
• Grow the Credit Union through new members and expanding existing relationships using probing and interviewing skills.
• Respond to member inquiries by phone or in person.
• Process transactions accurately using Eagle Vision.
• Protect the credit union by collecting delinquent, negative, and fraudulent accounts professionally.
• Learn and follow credit union regulations, policies, and procedures.
