The ideal candidate will handle phone calls, verify insurance, manage referrals, and maintain accurate documentation while delivering excellent patient service and maintaining clinic flow.

Qualifications

• Excellent bilingual communication in English and Spanish.
• Experience handling phone calls in patient-facing or healthcare support roles.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks accurately.

Responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound patient-related calls; communicate clearly in English and Spanish; provide reminders and follow-up support.
• Manage new and existing patient scheduling via phone, email, and text; keep provider calendars accurate and tidy.
• Verify patient eligibility and benefits before appointments; document results in EMR and escalate issues as needed.
• Process referrals and prior authorization tasks; track approvals/denials and coordinate with payer/provider offices to avoid delays.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation; support daily administrative workflows and ensure timely task completion.
