Job summary

Aurora Mental Health & Recovery seeks a part-time Health Navigator to support the Refugee and Immigrant Clinic. This role provides interpretation, care coordination, and cultural brokerage to help immigrant and refugee clients access behavioral health services.

Hybrid work combines remote and in-person days, with a focus on community engagement and outreach. The ideal candidate will be bilingual (English and Nepali and/or Pullar), have strong intercultural skills and a commitment to reducing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• One year of direct service experience in human services/navigation preferred.
• Medical interpretation certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Language fluency in English and Nepali and/or Pullar.

Responsibilities

• Provide language interpretation to clients receiving behavioral health services.
• Support refugees and immigrants with care coordination and navigation.
• Engage with community to promote outreach, education and wellness.
• Assist with transportation, reminders, attendance and scheduling.
• Translate health education materials into primary languages as needed.
• Coordinate with care team and resource referrals.
