Bilingual Health Care Customer Service Representative
Fully Remote • NM

Description

The GREAT STATE TEAM is seeking Remote Bilingual Health Care Customer Service Representatives to join our fast-growing teams! As a Health Care Customer Service Representative, you will handle inbound and outbound calls in a high-tech environment, resolving questions regarding insurance, financial assistance, and processing payments. This position is challenging but rewarding, fast-paced, and team-oriented.

Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Making and answering calls to resolve billing and payment issues, utilizing established work queues and call pools
  • Responding to information requests professionally and thoroughly
  • Gaining payment or arranging payments on behalf of clients as appropriate
  • Following client-specific protocols and policies
  • Investigating and responding to client inquiries
  • Entering and monitoring payment arrangements
  • Adhering to all FDCPA, FCRA, HIPAA, and other applicable laws
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
  • At least 1 year of experience in a call center or customer service role involving public contact
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, patient billing, healthcare insurance, or healthcare administration preferred
  • Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability
  • Flexibility in scheduling, including evenings and Saturdays
  • Ability to work cooperatively within a team
  • Bilingual candidates will support bilingual calls
Wage:
  • Bilingual: $17.00/hr, with a $1.00 increase at 90 days, and quarterly performance increases up to $2.00/hr in the first year
  • Non-bilingual: $15.00/hr, with similar increases
