Job summary

Astra­na Health, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative who speaks Cantonese or Mandarin to support our members. This is a full-time, remote role based in El Monte, CA, with a M–F schedule 8:30am–5:00pm PST.

You will answer inbound/outbound calls, verify authorizations and eligibility, document interactions, and assist with outreach and appointments. The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED, experience in customer service, and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Experience working in customer service
• One year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Fluent in Cantonese or Mandarin

Responsibilities

• Answer daily calls from members, providers, health plans, brokers, and hospitals
• Document calls in the customer service module & NMM Queue
• Verify authorization, claims, eligibility, and status
• Assist with member outreach and appointment scheduling
• Communicate professionally and maintain confidentiality
• Provide translations as needed (Spanish / Chinese)
