Job summary

Astrana Health is seeking a Customer Service Representative in El Monte, CA, to assist our diverse member population. Fluency in Cantonese or Mandarin is required to support members and providers, and to handle inbound/outbound calls with professionalism.

You will document interactions, verify eligibility and authorizations, and provide translations as needed. This remote role aligns with the Member Services department and PST hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Experience in customer service.
• One year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Answer daily calls from members, providers, health plans, insurance brokers, collection agents and hospitals.
• Document calls in the customer service system and assist management as needed.
• Verify authorization, claims, eligibility, and status as required.
• Provide translations for Spanish and Chinese as needed.
• Coordinate outreach and appointment scheduling with providers.
