Responsibilities include patient prep, histories, vital signs, scheduling surgeries, handling referrals and authorizations, managing medical records, and front-office tasks.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program or trained in Medical Assistant duties.
• Willing to learn both clinical and administrative tasks.
• Strong teamwork and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
• Document patient histories, medications, vital signs, and other information.
• Schedule surgical procedures and coordinate referrals and authorizations.
• Maintain medical records and charting; support front-office tasks.
• Travel with the provider to other DFW locations as needed.
• Provide patient education and ensure HIPAA compliance.
