Job summary

K5 Hospitality seeks an experienced General Manager to lead AltaToro in Atlanta, overseeing daily operations and partnering with the Executive Chef to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

The role requires hands-on leadership, a strong financial acumen, and a passion for developing leaders within a high-volume upscale setting. Fluency in English and Spanish is required for guest and staff interactions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of restaurant management in upscale/high-volume settings.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Strong leadership, hiring, training, and development skills.
• Knowledge of restaurant finances, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, consistency, and profitability.
• Build, develop, and retain a capable, engaged management and service team.
• Create a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment.
• Mentor employees and cultivate the next generation of leaders.
• Partner with the Executive Chef for front/back of house coordination.
• Ensure systems, policies, procedures, and service standards are followed.
• Own controllable costs including labor, food, beverage and supplies.
• Monitor financials and KPIs to meet business goals.
• Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning.
• Uphold food safety, sanitation and health standards.
• Ensure compliance with laws and employment practices.
• Represent AltaToro brand with hospitality and guest engagement.
• Stay informed about trends and opportunities to improve performance.
