Pay-O-Matic in Bronx, NY is seeking a Front-Line Customer Service Representative to maintain excellent service and process a range of transactions, including cashing checks, money transfers, bill payments, and prepaid products.

The role offers weekend/holiday shifts and the possibility to work at nearby stores within the borough. The position pays $17.00 per hour with benefits available for full-time employees.

Qualifications

• One to two years related experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Identify and respond to customers’ needs.
• Process customer transactions including cashing checks, money transfers, bill payments, and selling prepaid products.
• Open new preferred customer accounts and issue cards (e.g., inPower debit card).
• Ensure timely and courteous completion of transactions.
• Maintain and update customer accounts with photos, addresses, and phone numbers.
• Maintain knowledge of Payomatic’s products and services and assist customers accordingly.
• Promote Payomatic’s services by informing customers about available options.
• Perform cash handling and security procedures per company policy.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
