Job summary

Hurtt Family Health Clinic is seeking a bilingual Patient Services Representative to handle daily front office, eligibility, and intake tasks. The role requires Monday–Friday 8am–5pm with occasional Saturday 8am–12pm a few times a year.

Ideal candidates have clinic/healthcare front office experience, strong customer service skills, and are bilingual in Spanish and English. Medical Assistant experience and EMR knowledge are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish and English with comprehension of medical terms.
• 6 months to 1 year of medical front office experience.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced clinic environment.
• Knowledge of EMR systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone calls professionally and document messages.
• Schedule patient appointments across clinic services.
• Collect patient payments, post in EMR, and reconcile cash drawer.
• Maintain appointment policies to ensure accurate scheduling.
• Cross-train in front office and patient services areas.
• Maintain privacy and security of protected health information.
• Route calls and distribute faxed documents.
