Kids FIRST in Eugene, Oregon, seeks a fluent English/Spanish bilingual Forensic Interviewer to conduct developmentally appropriate, trauma-informed forensic interviews with children and collaborate with MDT partners in Lane County.

The role involves documenting interviews, maintaining case records, and providing testimony when needed, with ongoing training to ensure best-practice interviewing skills and community outreach.

Formación

• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years or Master's with 2+ years in related field.
• Ability to pass fingerprint-based criminal background check and child welfare history check.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct trauma-informed, developmentally appropriate forensic interviews with children.
• Collaborate with law enforcement, child welfare, prosecutors, medical providers, and MDT partners during assessments.
• Document interviews and maintain accurate case records.
• Provide fact and, when appropriate, expert witness testimony in criminal and civil court proceedings.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain best-practice interviewing skills.
• Deliver outreach, education, and consultation to MDT and community partners on child abuse and forensic interviewing.
